Whether it’s a new design, a new app, or a new functionality, Windows 11 is always looking for ways to improve our user experience. Of course, these features are still in the works, and Microsoft might decide to change or cancel them based on the feedback from the public. That’s why it’s so important to let Microsoft know what you think via the Feedback Hub. Here are some of the exciting features that Windows 11 users can look forward to in 2024:

AI’ified Notepad

Imagine having an AI assistant right inside your Notepad. That’s what Microsoft is planning to do with Windows 11 and its new feature called “CoWriter.” This feature will revolutionize the way you use the simple text editor, giving you access to a variety of smart editing tools. With CoWriter, you can adjust the length, tone, format, and instructions of your text with just a few clicks. You can also use the ‘Replace’ button to let the AI find better words or phrases for your text. The best part is that the AI understands the context of your document, so it can provide you with relevant and helpful suggestions.

80Gbps USB Support

Windows 11 is bringing you the fastest USB ever. The new USB 80Gbps standard will let you transfer data at lightning speed, connect to stunning displays, and enjoy the best of USB Type-C features. You can experience this amazing upgrade on some of the most powerful devices, like the Razer Blade 18 with Intel Core 14th Gen HX-series mobile processors. And don’t worry about your old devices, they will still work with the new USB 80Gbps standard, thanks to its backward compatibility with USB and Thunderbolt. Windows 11 is always looking for ways to make your life easier and more enjoyable.

Copilot personalization

Windows 11 Dev Insiders, get ready for a new feature that will make your widescreen devices even smarter. Copilot, the AI-powered assistant that helps you code faster and better, will now launch automatically when you start your device. But don’t worry, if you prefer to work without Copilot, you can easily turn it off by going to Settings > Personalization > Copilot. This feature is still in testing, and it only works on devices with a screen size of 27″ or more and a pixel width of 1,920 or more. So, if you don’t see it yet, don’t fret, it might be coming soon.

Lock Screen Weather Updates

Windows 11 is bringing you a new way to stay updated on the weather without unlocking your screen. With the new lock screen weather feature, you can see the current temperature, humidity, wind speed, and more by just hovering over the weather card. And if you want to see the full forecast, you can simply click on the card and it will take you to MSN Weather on Microsoft Edge. This feature is available now for English-speaking users in the US, so you can enjoy the convenience and beauty of the weather on your lock screen.

Voice access enhancements

You can also switch between multiple screens with just your voice, making multitasking a breeze. And if you want to create your own voice commands, you can do that too. With custom voice commands, you can set up your own voice shortcuts for any action you want. Windows 11 is listening to you and giving you more freedom and flexibility.
